United Promotes Two Employees to Branch Manager Roles in Southwest Michigan

St. Joseph, Michigan – United Federal Credit Union (United) has promoted two employees to branch manager roles in southwest Michigan. Nicole Bowes and Lisa Hansen have been with United for several years and were both previously Member Service Advisors in Berrien County and have transitioned into their new roles.
“We are thrilled to have Nicole and Lisa moving into new roles and have the opportunity to continue working with our members in southwest Michigan,” said Jodie Kitchell, District Manager. “They understand the needs of our members in Berrien County, and we are looking forward to the new ways they’ll be able to serve those members moving forward.”
Branch Manager, Downtown St. Joseph Branch
Bowes has been promoted to Branch Manager at United’s location at 321 Main St. in downtown St. Joseph. As Branch Manager, Bowes will be responsible for maintaining the performance of the branch, and providing leadership and supervision to staff.
Bowes brings nearly four years of financial experience in southwest Michigan to her new role. She has been with United since 2018. Prior to becoming branch manager, she was a Member Service Advisor.
Bowes is studying business administration at Western Governors University. She volunteers with Girls on the Run and looks forward to supporting United’s community impact efforts with organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of Benton Harbor, and other local non-profit groups.
Branch Manager, Berrien Springs Branch
Hansen has been promoted to Branch Manager at United’s branch at 9097 US Hwy 31 in Berrien Springs. As Branch Manager, Hansen will be responsible for maintaining the performance of the branch, and providing leadership and supervision to staff.
Hansen brings more than five years of financial experience to her new role. She has been with United since 2017, and most recently was a Member Service Advisor at United’s Stevensville branch.
Hansen is a lifelong resident of Berrien County. She looks forward to supporting United’s community impact efforts with organizations such as the United Way of Southwest Michigan, and other local non-profit groups.
